Chapter 10.

Woohoo!

Amy clenched her fists. She felt used. She felt pathetic. She felt misunderstood. She felt like she was nothing but the gum under the shoe to Sonic. A warm, salty tear slowly ran down her cold cheek, as a tiny blush appeared on her muzzle. She cleared her throat. "Yeah, Sally, this kiss didn't mean anything. It was just a simple kiss. No emotions, I promise." she said sweetly, forcing a half smile. Then she looked down again and sighed, knowing she had emotions, but she had to hide them now, for Sonic. Otherwise he'd be dumped, and she knew he loved Sally, so she didn't want to risk that.

Sally cocked an eyebrow at Amy. She found them secretly smooching behind this brick wall and now she said no emotions were there? How's that even possible? Sally shook her head. She was so angry. Actually, she felt the urge to kill Amy right now. That bitch trying to seduce HER Sonic. Well, Sonic wouldn't just kiss any other girl, especially not Amy. So it had to be Amy that kissed him. Sally clenched and unclenched her fists ever and ever again. "You liar." she muttered under her breath.

Sonic stared to the ground, feeling lifeless. He felt like something just ripped his heart out of his chest after what Amy just said. This kiss meant nothing to her? So it was true. She didn't love him anymore. 'Give up, bro,' Sonic told himself. He let out a deep sigh and faced Sally's blue eyes, which were glowing with anger. He awkwardly tried to avoid eye contact. Sally started growling quietly. Sonic frowned.

"No, I am not lying. The kiss didn't mean shit to either of us. You can calm down, you weirdo." Amy stated, placing her hands on her hips. Sally did pretty much the same and chuckled. "And you think I would believe that? Does my forehead say 'complete idiot here', or what?" Sally asked mockingly. Amy rolled her eyes annoyed. She shot Sonic a glare. Why would he just kiss her? Because he was sorry? Yeah, right. Amy sighed annoyed. She threw away all of these years, waiting for Sonic to return her love, but now he's just leading her on and she couldn't deal with the pain anymore. Who did he think he was for making her feel like that? Amy shook her head and looked down, anger growing inside of her. She looked up slowly and faced Sonic, who was helplessly staring at her. Amy's anger vanished immediately after looking into Sonic's green eyes. He had the control over her, because it was only him holding her heart in his hands, and nothing could change that. Amy winced. Why? Why him? Just why? She sighed again, this time it sounded kinda sad. She looked at Sally, who was staring sternly at her. It was understandable, Sonic was HER boyfriend. Amy got into a straight position and forced a warm smile. "No, Sally. It doesn't. And I am sorry for what you had to see. It surely won't happen again. Please, let's just calm down. I'm not in the mood to argue right now. I'm sorry, okay?" she said politely, still smiling at Sally.

Sonic looked over to Amy. That girl had nerves. Now she tries to straighten things up, even though it was his fault she was in this kind of situation. He sighed and looked over to Amy, who was looking back at him, rolling her eyes. Sonic smiled awkwardly and nodded. Amy smiled back, but it looked forced. Sonic turned his gaze towards Sally, who was coming closer to Amy, pure anger written all over her face. Sonic took one step back and decided to watch the scene. Something told him Sally wasn't up to any good, but he had to know what she was going to do, coming so close to Amy.

Amy's eyes shot open as she noticed Sally directly staring at her, only a few inches away from her. If gazes could kill, Amy would be dead by now. Amy squeezed her eyes shut as she felt a slap. A hard slap. Sally slapped her. Really hard. There was a red handprint left on Amy's cold cheek. Amy opened her eyes again, she saw that Sally was still just as close. She looked annoyed. Then she started laughing evily. "You bitch." she started mockingly. Amy touched her cheek softly and looked at Sally with a blank expression. "Listen," Sally added, "Sonic is mine. Get it in your head. Stop trying to steal him away from me, you bitch. Get your own man. Sonic's been with me first, he'll never love you like he loves me. Stop trying to seduce him by kissing and blowjobbing him, you fake whore. If I ever see you hanging out with him alone I'm gonna pummel your ugly face into a fucking pulp, you got it?" Sally growled angrily at Amy. Amy cocked an eyebrow, let go of her cheek and laughed. "Kissing and blowjobbing." Amy repeated, laughing. Sally took a few steps back, she couldn't believe the pink hedgehog was LAUGHING at this. It was so serious and she was laughing? Unbelievable. Sally was impressed that her slap didn't make Amy turn all shy and friendly. Her anger grew.

Sonic watched the scene with a blank expression. Did Sally just slap Amy and tell her all this stuff and Amy was laughing? Tough girl, he thought. He smirked at the part Amy repeated laughing. He crossed his arms and sighed. "Sally, leave it." he said unimpressed. Sally shot him a death glare before turning back to Amy, who was still grinning with amusement. "What you gonna do, Sal?" Amy asked, challenging. She winked. Sally gasped. "You bitch!" Sally shouted before slapping Amy again, even harder this time. The red handprint came back. Amy winced shortly, then looked at Sally with a smirk. "Is that all you got, big girl?" she said mockingly. As Sally was about to punch her, Sonic jumped between them, spreading his arms infront of Amy, protecting her. Amy crossed her arms, standing behind Sonic. "I can deal with this alone, hedgehog." Amy said, pouting. Sonic chuckled. "Psh, Ames." he teased. Amy rolled her eyes, amused. She stood on her toes to look over Sonic's shoulder to watch Sally's reaction. "I said leave it, Sally." Sonic growled.

Sally stared at Sonic. Her jaw dropped slowly. She shook her head in disbelief. "Blue, you're taking her side? I see, so I'm just another game to you. You always broke your promises. You said you'd never leave or disappoint me, and you did both, just now. I can't believe it, you bastard." Sally muttered, shooting either of them a death glare, before slowly turning around. In the corner of her eye she saw that Sonic put his arms down as soon as she turned her back to them. She quickly turned around once more to face Sonic. He looked back at her with a blank expression. He showed no emotions. No love, no hate. She spat at him. "What goes around comes back around, hedgehog." she said, finally leaving them alone now. She went to the toilet to smoke. She had to relax and give him some time to think about what he has done to her. She sighed. She actually felt hurt. Really...hurt.

Sonic closed his eyes and slowly opened them again, removing the spit on his face with the back of his gloved hand. He shook his head with disgust. Amy held her tummy, because she was laughing so hard. Sonic turned around and looked at her. He immediately smiled and raised an eyebrow. "Miss Rose, what are you laughing at?" he asked with the accent of his German teacher. Amy's face turned red from laughing so hard. "YOU!" she shouted. Sonic laughed too. "Yeah, being me is kind of hard and stressing. You wouldn't like to be me." he said, sighing. Amy punched his shoulder playfully and gave him a cheerful smile. "It's okay, it's just Sally. Don't worry about her, she'll come back to you, anyway. She can't resist you." she said, giving him a sly wink. Sonic chuckled and pulled Amy closer to him, hugging her tight. He sighed into her neck and whispered, "I know, I know. It's not her I'm worried about." He sounded kind of concerned. Amy rolled her eyes with a smile, hugging him back. As she noticed that Sonic wasn't going to let go, she squeezed him tight and freed herself from the hug. She forced a smile. Sonic knew it was faked in the very first second. He sighed and looked at Amy. "What's up?" he asked, sounding sort of emotionless. Amy shrugged. "I'd rather go in now, don't wanna miss Spanish." she said, heading inside quickly. She gave him a wave and ran off.

Sonic returned the wave and sat back down on the swing. He looked up into the sky and watched the birds fly. They flew in a circle and made their lovely noises. Sonic immediately had to half smile. He looked down at his trainers. His smile faded. What was this feeling? He felt so disappointed in himself. Why would he risk losing his best friend by kissing her, if she clearly doesn't return the urge to kiss him? But even after what just happened everything was cool between them. No awkwardness. Well, a bit. Sonic leaned forward and held his head in his hand, sighing. What was this all about? Why would he take the risk to lose his awesome girlfriend by kissing his best friend? He chuckled. "Awesome girlfriend. Yeah, right." he muttered. An awesome girlfriend would accept his best friend. But wait, Sally caught them kissing. She has to understand! No, she doesn't. Her behavior might be weird at times, but this time he could understand that she was mad. But that was no reason to hurt Amy! She could have killed Sonic, but why touching Amy in any way? It wasn't Amy's fault, anyway. Sonic shook his head. His feelings confused him. He looked back into the sky and continued to watch the birds fly their circles. Did he ... like ... her ... ?
Yeah.
